This kind of conductor is composed by one or more layer of pure aluminium AA1350-H19, hard drawn. The conductivity is 61%IACS. This kind of conductor has a very low value of specific mechanical resistance and it’s used for short lengths (for example next to the stations) and not for long spans. This kind of conductor has a very good resistance to corrosion and his modulus of elasticity is characterized by a law that consider the formation of the conductor (number of wires and layers).
