OPGW optical cable is mainly used on 500KV, 220KV, 110KV voltage level lines, and is mostly used on new lines due to line power failure, safety and other factors.

One end of the grounding wire of the OPGW optical cable is connected to the parallel clip, and the other end is connected to the ground along the transmission line tower. The parallel clip is installed on the OPGW optical cable downwire on the transmission line tower of the substation to connect the OPGW optical cable down wire to the ground. At the same time, the grounding wire and OPGW optical cable leading down the tower of the transmission line are installed in the protective tube, and the optical fiber optical cable is best to use the standard.

1. Three-point grounding method of cement pole

1) The upper end of the door frame is connected with steel core aluminum stranded wire, one end is connected with the OPGW optical cable with a parallel groove clip, and the other end is crimped with an aluminum nose and then connected with the grounding body with metal bolts.

2) Connect the steel core pin stranded wire in front of the redundant cable rack, one end of which is connected with the OPGW optical cable with the parallel groove clamp, and the other end is connected and fixed with the grounding flat steel belt with steel clamps and metal bolts.

3) Use steel-aluminum stranded wire to connect between the cable rack and the splice box, one end is connected with the OPGW optical cable with the parallel groove clamp, and the other end is connected with the grounding flat steel belt with steel clamps and metal bolts.
2. Three-point grounding method of steel pipe pole

1) The upper end of the door frame is connected with steel core aluminum stranded wire, one end is connected with the OPGW optical cable with a parallel groove clip, and the other end is crimped with an aluminum nose and then connected with the grounding body with metal bolts.

2) Use steel-cored aluminum stranded wire to connect in front of the remaining cable rack, one end of the towel is connected to the OPGW optical cable with a parallel groove clip, and the other end is connected to the grounding connection of the steel-cored aluminum wire with a parallel grooved wire clip.
3. Three-point grounding method of tower

1) The upper end of the door frame is connected by steel-cored aluminum stranded wire. One end of the parallel groove wire clip is connected to the OPGW optical cable, and the other end of the aluminum nose is crimped and then connected to the grounding body with metal bolts.

2) Connect with steel-aluminum stranded wire in front of the remaining cable rack, and connect one end with the OPGW optical cable with a parallel groove clamp. The other end of the aluminum nose is crimped and then connected to the tower with metal bolts.

3) Use steel-aluminum stranded wire to connect between the cable frame and the splice box. One end is connected with the OPGW optical cable with a parallel groove clamp, and the other end is crimped with an aluminum nose and then connected with the iron tower with metal bolts.
