100% Original Aerial Joint Closure - SC LC FC ST E2000 Fiber Optical Patch Cord – GL Technology Detail:

1. FC stands for Fixed Connection. It is fixed by way of threaded barrel housing. FC connectors are generally constructed with a metal housing and are nickel-plated.

2. SC stands for Subscriber Connector- a general purpose push/pull style connector. It is a square, snap-in connector latches with a simple push-pull motion and is keyed

3. LC patch cord is a fiber optic cable used to attach one device to another for signal routing. LC stands for Lucent Connector. It is a small form-factor fiber optic connector, half the size of the SC.

4. ST stands for Straight Tip- a quick release bayonet style connector. ST connectors are cylindrical with twist lock coupling. They are push-in and twist types

5. PC stands for Physical Contact.With the PC connector, the two fibers meet as they do with the flat connector, but the end faces are polished to be slightly curved or spherical. This eliminates the air gap and forces the fibers into contact

6. UPC stands for Ultra Physical Contact.The end faces are given an extended polishing for a better surface finish. These connectors are often used in digital, CATV, and telephony systems.

7. APC stands for Angled Physical Contact The end faces are still curved, but they’re angled at an industry-standard eight degrees. This maintains a tight connection. These connectors are preferred for CATV and analogue systems.

In 2004, GL FIBER established the factory to produce optical cable products, mainly producing drop cable, outdoor optical cable, etc.

GL Fiber now have 18 sets of coloring equipments, 10 sets of secondary plastic coating equipments, 15 sets of SZ layer twisting equipments, 16 sets of sheathing equipments, 8 sets of FTTH drop cable production equipments, 20 sets of OPGW optical cable equipments, and 1 paralleling equipment And many other production auxiliary equipments. At present, the annual production capacity of optical cables reaches 12 million core-km (average daily production capacity of 45,000 core km and kinds of cables can reach 1,500 km) . Our factories can produce various types of indoor and outdoor optical cables ( such as ADSS, GYFTY, GYTS, GYTA, GYFTC8Y, air-blown micro-cable, etc.). the daily production capacity of common cables can reach 1500KM/day, the daily production capacity of drop cable can reach max. 1200km/day, and the daily production capacity of OPGW can reach 200KM/day.
